چکیده
(1,2) In this theoretical study, we apply MesoFON, a field-calibrated individual-based model of mangrove forest dynamics, and its Lotka–Volterra interpretations to address two questions: (a) Do the dynamics identical red species that compete for light resources avoid inter-specific competition by lateral crown displacement follow predictions classical theory or resource theory? (b) Which mechanisms drive in presence plasticity when local is combined with global localized seed dispersal? (3) qualitative support theory, can stably coexist within MesoFON. However, total standing stock at equilibrium matched carrying capacity single species. Therefore, “non-overyielding” rather than classic one approximated best observed behavior. Mechanistically, moved heterospecific trees apart pushed conspecifics together. Despite competition, community exhibited mean-field dispersal. comparison, dispersal slowed down diminishing strength intra-/inter-specific their difference due restriction competitive race prevails between conspecific clusters. (4) As outcome IBMs mediated resources, conclude override those more are likely successfully communities.

Sex-specific and inter-individual differences in biomarkers of selenium status identified by a calibrated ELISA for selenoprotein P
Selenoprotein P (SELENOP) is a liver-derived transporter of selenium (Se) in blood, and a meaningful biomarker of Se status. Se is an essential trace element for the biosynthesis of enzymatically-active selenoproteins, protecting the organism from oxidative damage. The usage of uncalibrated assays hinders the comparability of SELENOP concentrations and their pathophysiological interpretation ac...
متن کاملa study on insurer solvency by panel data model: the case of iranian insurance market
the aim of this thesis is an approach for assessing insurer’s solvency for iranian insurance companies. we use of economic data with both time series and cross-sectional variation, thus by using the panel data model will survey the insurer solvency.
A simple Markovian individual-based model as a means of understanding forest dynamics
The forests are ecological systems of great complexity which present interaction phenomena associated with the competition between individuals of the same and of different species. This competition is about access to resources (light, water, nutrients, . . .). The scales of forest ecosystems are very long. For this reason we use in this framework Markovian modeling for space and time evolution ...
متن کاملMangrove Forest Distributions and Dynamics in Madagascar (1975–2005)
Mangrove forests of Madagascar are declining, albeit at a much slower rate than the global average. The forests are declining due to conversion to other land uses and forest degradation. However, accurate and reliable information on their present distribution and their rates, causes, and consequences of change have not been available. Earlier studies used remotely sensed data to map and, in som...
متن کاملDYNAMIC COMPLEXITY OF A THREE SPECIES COMPETITIVE FOOD CHAIN MODEL WITH INTER AND INTRA SPECIFIC COMPETITIONS
The present article deals with the inter specific competition and intra-specific competition among predator populations of a prey-dependent three component food chain model consisting of two competitive predator sharing one prey species as their food. The behaviour of the system near the biologically feasible equilibria is thoroughly analyzed. Boundedness and dissipativeness of the system are e...
